a choir of early music
Schola Cantorum of Eau Claire is a 12-voice choir in the Eau Claire and Chippewa Valley area dedicated to the a cappella vocal music of the medieval, renaissance, and baroque.
Tune in this week to “Spectrum West" with host Al Ross, on WPR Ideas Network, to hear an interview with our director Jerry Hui, who will talk about the idea behind Schola, the repertoire of early music, and the music featured on our first concert.
“Spectrum West” is on air Thursday 10am, and repeated Friday at 7pm. Online archive will also be available on WPR's website.
Come join the Schola Cantorum! We are seeking singers in all voice parts.
Auditions will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Eau Claire (1314 E. Lexington Blvd).
You don't need to prepare anything. However, please sign up online using the links provided behind each date. You only need to sign up for one, 15-minute audition slot.

Voice range, vocal color, intonation and sight reading skills are the main deciding factors in the audition process.
